My last Visit! Chloroplasts Agriculture field

The Chloroplasts Agriculture field is a green oval where chlorophyll is contained. It also contains sacs called thylakoids that are located in the inner membrane. This agriculture field uses a complex process they call photosynthesis to make food for the citizens of Cell. The workers include CO2, water, and of course the sun, who work all the time to keep the citizens fed. I noticed that oxygen tries to come into the field quite often and sent outside of Cell when it appears.

Storage Unit (A Vacuoles Company)

This is a model of the Storage Unit (A Vacuoles Company).

The Storage Unit (A Vacuoles Company) is a large building! It is actually the largest building in the entire city. In Plant Country, there is only one Storage Unit (A Vacuoles Company), while in Animal Country, there are multiple, small units. There are fluid-filled units or sacs where the food, water, and metabolic & toxic wastes are stored. In Cell, large amounts of food and sugar is stored in the units, until it is later needed!

If the Storage Unit (A Vacuoles Company) is empty, the Plant Country will become sick and starve. The unit must be full to not only aid in the city of Cell, but the Plant Country.

Garbage Lysosomes Dump

The Garbage Lysosome Dump breaks down worn out parts of Cell and also gathers waste products. It is a small, round dump, that has only a single worker named Membrane. I visited here because I was curious how the city only has one dump and has almost no waste. The Lysosome Dump is very efficient and gets rid of the waste easily. The large food is also broken down into smaller food. These are very uncommon in Cell, though, as Cell is Plant country. It is more common in Animal country. I am going to the Storage Unit (A Vacuoles Company) next!

Golgi Bodies Packing Factory

The Golgi Bodies Packing Factory has multiple flattened sacs, which package proteins and export them to places outside of Cell. They also create proteins in another part of their packing factory, which are also shipped off later. I was given a tour of the factory and saw both parts of the factory. They create very complex items and ship them off to many locations outside of the cell. Some of the items are stored in the factory until they are used or exported.

Nucleus City Hall and Mayor Chromosome

I went straight to the Nucleus City Hall, as the Endoplasmic Reticulum Trucking & Co and the City Hall are connected. The Nucleus City Hall controls cell activities and I was happy to meet Mayor Chromosome. Mayor Chromosome decides what the city does and directs it to do so.

Endoplasmic Reticulum Trucking & CO. *Visit*

I decided to stop at a trucking company that transports, and even helps to make, food. The food they transport is called Ribosomes, which makes the trucks a little rough when they drive. The foods are made up of protein and rRNA and synthesize protein for the citizens. I found it very interesting that the trucking company is directly connected with the Nucleus City Hall and Cell Membrane Gate! Speaking of the Nucleus City Hall, I am headed there next.

Food the citizens of Cell eat, otherwise known as Ribosomes.

Mitochondria Power Plant

I was so excited to visit the Mitochondria power plant to see what the city did for power! The outside of the building is smooth and peanut shaped, but the inner part has many hallways that almost seem to be folded. The power plant gives power and energy to Cell by breaking down a fuel called glucose. The power plant also has another process called Cellular Respiration, which releases oxygen for other countries.
